GREENWICH - A plan is in the works to perform extensive testing
for mold at the Hamilton Avenue School in Greenwich
The district held a forum Tuesday night to inform parents and school
employees about their plans to test the indoor air quality, soil and
the structure of the building. School and health officials plan to use
that information to decide whether the building is safe or not.
Part of the school, which had mold problems for almost a year, had to
be closed earlier this month due to elevated mold levels caused by a
leaking pipe.
